New Brunswick Art Salon 2018 - Photography: A Facility for Photogenia exhibition

  • Alfa Art Gallery 108 Church Street New Brunswick, NJ, 08901 United States (map)

As part of its successful decade-long New Brunswick Art Salon, Alfa Art Gallery is honored to announce the New Brunswick Art Salon 2018 Photography Exhibition: “A Facility for Photogenia” in which a group of talented photographers from the Tri-State area and beyond will be exhibiting their finest work. Epic sights from monochrome skyscrapers adorning the New York City skyline, to images of a quaint, weathered Asbury Park boardwalk will be available for both curious eyes and discerning collectors. Additionally, photography delving into portraiture and a wide range of other enthralling visual concepts will grace the walls of Alfa Art Gallery.

“A Facility for Photogenia” is a juried exhibition sure to surprise, entertain and enchant. Andrew Darlow, an award-winning artist, author and renowned arts educator who will be this year’s juror, had this to say about the show: “It’s an honor to be asked to choose my favorite prints from the work of so many creative artists. I especially enjoy being ‘virtually transported’ to new and often exotic locations across our incredible planet through the artists’ images.” The exhibition will be open to the public from January 9 through March 3, 2018. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, January 12, 2018.

Accepted Artists: Amy Becker, Barbara Eggermann, Brayden Donnelly, Carl Geisler, Casey Shaw, Chelsey Sinclair, Christine Cuthbertson, C.a. Shofed, Gina Petrecca, Hannah Schrenzel, Heidi Sussman, Jackii Sovern, Kedar Wani, Nick Palmieri, Patricia Bender, Patrick Carroll, Peter Aldrich, Steven Yahr, and Thomas Maugham
